Is Discovery Channel cooking up their own version of “Survivor”?

If the casting call sheets are to be believed — and they’re short on details — then, yes. But as this is Disco and not CBS, I’d expect the series to be a more hardcore example of surviving the elements.

“The Discovery Network is conducting a nationwide casting for people to take part in a new groundbreaking social experiment,” the ad reads. “This is a new Survivalist type show. If you have the skills and the desire to have an amazing, life changing opportunity, we want you.”

So who exactly are they looking for? Well, everyone from marathon runners to nutritionists to doctors – as well “Real Fashion Designers”, and “Beauty Queens”. So it’s safe to bet that there will be no shortage of drama. Are we sure this series is meant for TLC?

Check out the details via Reality Wanted here.
