One of my favorite parts of Mad Men is getting to enjoy Pete Campbell’s bitch face. Yes, his bitch face which has also been turned into a blog so, you know, it’s not just me! That being said, the actor who plays him, Vincent Kartheiser, has openly professed his love of a veg lifestyle, and even though he lives in Los Angeles he’s made the choice to forgo using a car and opted for transport by train or bus (for LA, that’s a big deal!). Now the oh so green and eco celeb is starring in a PSA campaign for a high-speed rail that would cut down on carbon footprints.

And he recruited his Mad Men co-star Rich Sommer to help him. The PSA was created for advocacy group U.S. PIRG who wanted to create a funny, viral video to bring attention to the support of a high-speed rail.

The video will feature Kartheiser and Sommer in their 1965 Mad Men setting discussing the future price of gas, and how the high-speed rail is bound to be a success. Something we are all for, as it would create jobs, get cars off the roads, and lower the amount of gas emissions! And President Obama has stated that he’d like to have 80% of Americans with access to high-speed rail within the next 25 years.

The full vid will debut on March 9th, but you can watch the teaser below!
