Olivia Munn has had something of a break-out year, becoming a Daily Show correspondent and starring in the NBC sitcom “Perfect Couples.” Along with that sudden success has come an increase in Munn’s influence in the world of eco-activism (and some extra appearances on the pages of Ecorazzi!).

The former G4 network host has teamed up with PETA many times in the past, posing for PSA posters and protesting against circuses that use and mistreat elephants. Now, Munn is teaming up with Hewlett-Packard to promote green education and to make schools a little more eco-friendly.

Munn admits to her geekdom (she has been known to dress up as Wonder Woman) in the PSA for the “Green Your School Challenge” which calls for kids to come up with ideas for how to use technology to make their schools greener. Winners will be chosen based on the creativity of their ideas and the number of people from their school they get involved, and will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and a brand new HP laptop!

Olivia will be appearing this weekend as a presenter at the Humane Society’s Genesis Awards, where “The Daily Show” is nominated. You can also catch Munn on “Perfect Couples” on Thursdays on NBC, and occasionally as a correspondent on “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central.
