The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

This Saturday evening, put down your iPad 2, your laptop, that great new book by that author you love, turn off the television, Xbox, iPod, and take a moment to head outside and stare at the sky.

Granted, this is all dependent on clear conditions – but should the heavens reveal themselves, you’ll be able to appreciate the largest moon in over 18 years. It’s predicted that this Supermoon will be “about 20 percent brighter and 15 percent bigger than a regular full moon”. For the best perspective, try and catch the moon as it rises in the east just after sunset – you’ll be in awe over just how large it will appear.

For more info, check out our full post on the supermoon phenomenon. Have fun Saturday evening!
