Charlie Sheen To Perform In Haiti, Donate All Proceeds To Charity #WINNING
Apparently Sean Penn‘s cure for Haiti’s problems is Charlie Sheen. Yeah, that’s just what they need…
The recently fired “Two and a Half Men” star is bringing his “Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not An Option” tour to Haiti on the advice of one Sean Penn. Both actors visited the region together earlier this month, and apparently it had quite the effect on Sheen. The only good thing is that all proceeds from the show will go to benefit charities in Haiti!
TMZ has reported that the Haiti show will be Sheen’s last on the tour, which is estimated to generate an estimated $7 million profit.
In a recent interview, Penn defended his friend by saying, “When you divorce the moral judgments, which I prefer to do, I see a guy who has a clearer view of the nature of the world around him than is sometimes comfortable to have. Those are the sort of people who have a tendency to find altered states. But he’s a very ironic character. He’s got pretension in the crosshairs of his wit. I think to a large degree he’s saying, ‘Guys, we’re only going to be here once, so lighten the f**k up.’ ”
If lightening up means losing your children, beating women, and hiring prostitutes, then I’ll stick to being a bore!
