To celebrate World Water Week, we’ve partnered with Brita’s FilterForGood initiative to giveaway five prize packs to our readers.

For those unfamiliar with the campaign, FilterForGood encourages individuals to stay hydrated, healthy and practice an eco-friendly lifestyle by filling reusable bottles with Brita filtered water instead of purchasing bottled water. Since 2009, FilterForGood has been a leading force in helping to reduce bottled water use at the annual Sundance Film Festival; as well as organizing environmental film contests with celebrities like “Entourage” star Emmanuelle Chiriqui.

My partner is complaining about taste of our water since fluoride was added, this is just what we need, and a healthier choice. Just love to see and taste the difference.

I would love to win because our tap water doesn’t taste good. Also, I’m trying to teach my 4 and 8 year old kids to learn how to live using less waste and energy. So, winning this would help us not have to buy so many bottles of water, plus it’s much better to drink water than soda or sugary drinks! Thanks for the chance!

I just signed up for your weekly newsletter, “The Dirt.” I just found this site by accident from the SpaWeekblog and must say I really enjoy it. I will definitely be back and can’t wait to see what your newsletter is all about.

I’d love to win this because all we basically drink in our household is water. Our fridge isn’t one with a water dispenser so we drink a lot of bottled water. I do use a filter on my sink but would really like a pitcher to put in the fridge because the tap water just doesn’t get as cold and maybe its all a mental thing, just doesn’t taste as good as bottled water does. We do recycle the plastic but I’d like to cut it out altogether. We’re on the go so much so the Brita water bottles are exactly what we need.

I just signed up for the e-newsletter, because this is right up my alley! I have been using Brita my entire life…you should see the state of my old pitcher (green is NOT good in this one instance) – I’d love a new pitcher at home and the bottles for my husband and I to bring to the gym. I have NO idea what’s coming out of the water fountains there! EEEEEEEK!

I have Joined “The Dirt” Email Newsletter. THANKS for offering this great Giveaway!! :)

Well, I was one of the winners and I received my prize a few days ago. Very, very happy with me new water bottles. They are not squirt bottles, which I am very pleased about, and they seem very well made. I’ve bought quite a few water bottles that crapped out in short order, defeating their purpose. The jug is nice too, but I already had a Brita Ultramax. Having both will come in handy. Where I live, water consumption during the warm months isn’t an option, at least for me. One way or another, I have to drink up or pay the consequenses. I’m glad that I will have these to help me cut down on my consumption of plastic, which is as important to me as veganism is to others.

If you didn’t win, I still recommend purchasing this product. I probably will go look for a couple more of these water bottles to make sure that 1-2 is always available in the fridge.
