PETCO is getting a little greener with their new “Planet PETCO” line of eco-friendly pet furniture, leashes, toys, and products.

The great part is that most of the products are relatively affordable. For dogs you can expect to find eco-items like the Natural Shea Butter Daily Moisturizing Dog Spray ($7.97), the Argyle Eco Dog Collar ($12.74), and a toy like their Medium Braided Rope Tug Toy ($7.49). While for kitties the natural line offers Natural Cat Litter Deodorizer ($5.09), and the Sisal and Seagreass Orb Scratching Post ($16.99).

The item in the above picture is their eco-friendly Bunkhouse dog house which retails for $139.99. It’s made from 60% post-industrial recycled plastic material and natural poplar wood, and has a weather proof interior and exterior.

As an added bonus, PETCO is pledging 1% of all sales from the eco-line to 1% For The Planet, which donates money to various environmental causes. Super cool!

Veld donates money to farm animals and also serves them

Lest we be confused that their giant V logo stands for anything other than Veld.

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
