It was fun while it lasted. At least, for everyone outside the shut down reptile house at the Bronx Zoo.

According to reports, officials are set to announce that they’v successfully located the 20-inch juvenile Egyptian Cobra that escaped from its enclosure sometime last Friday. NBC news correspondent Peter Alexander tweeted that officials told him the snake is now in quarantine.

So what does this all mean for the @BronxZoosCobra twitter account – which currently has over 202,000 followers? Him/her is apparently not giving in just yet. The latest tweet reads: “If you see a bag of peanuts inexplicably moving along the ground at Yankee Stadium today. Just ignore it. It’s probably nothing.”
