Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that her daughter is keeping the vegetarian lifestyle alive and well in her family. The former macrobiotic eater says Apple has never liked meat.

“She was just like, ‘I don’t like [meat]’,” Paltrow told comedian Chelsea Handler. “If I tried to give her a little chicken or a little turkey meatball, she would spit it out when she was little. She just doesn’t it, she’s never liked it.”

The actress has been out and about recently promoting her new cookbook “My Father’s Daughter”. So far, reviews are fairly positive – with the general consensus being that while no new ground is broken on meals, there is enough variation on the standards to make them worth trying. One reviewer on Amazon, however, thought Sheryl Crow’s new cookbook was more deserving of praise. “Fortunately, the opposite was true of the Sheryl Crow book, which blew me away,” the commenter writes. “Page after page of creative, and mouth-watering recipes from her personal chef, that are also healthy.”

Have you seen Paltrow or Crow’s new cookbook?
