It’s almost here! This Wednesday join other eco fashionistas (that includes men too) for the perfect spring cleaning event. A large scale clothing swap for you to say “Out with the old and in with the new.”

The proceeds of the swap are going to support HEART, the fabulous non profit that teaches kids about human rights, animal protection and environmental ethics.

So far friends of HEART have ensured the swap will start strong by offering up their designer duds with pieces by Yves Saint Laurent, BCBG, Emporio Armani, Betsey Johnson, Escada, St. John, Christian Dior, Bicci, Max Studio, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Anne Klein as well as costume jewelry, handbags, ties and more! Are you salivating yet? You should be.

And don’t forget, in addition to shmoozing with other awesome people and updating your wardrobe, you’ll get to snack on delicious vegan baked goods like cupcakes, cookies, brownies and truffles at the vegan bake sale.

The event starts at 4pm and runs until 9pm. Come for an hour or stay the whole time. See the flyer above for the full details. We hope to see you there!

Why Vegetarianism Makes No Sense From A Moral Perspective

I don’t consider my years as a vegetarian as a stepping-stone or prerequisite to veganism

I hope I win the ‘Pig Farmers of Tomorrow’ contest I entered (I’m vegan)

I think I’ll likely have the most interest in pigs of anyone applying, anyway.

Hopefully Jon & Tracey Stewart use their new farm for vegan education

They’ve promised classes on caring for animals and sustainable agriculture, so vegan 101 would be a great place to start.
