Live in New York? Want to get your eco-fashionista on? Then you’re in luck, because Stella McCartney recently launched a shop-in-shop at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store.

Over the weekend there was a party to help launch the store, and it was nothing if not animal friendly. Co-hosted by starlet Liv Tyler, the event offered veggie hot dogs, mylar balloons, Pimm’s Cups, and even allowed guests to bring their own fluffy puppies to the party.

Stella has been a strong supporter of animal rights, and is one of the most well-known eco-designers of the fashion world. She not only uses all organic fabrics and utilizes green techniques in the manufacturing of her pieces, but she’s also a vegetarian.

The store will feature Stella’s adult clothing line, but if you want your little one swaddled in eco-fabric you can head upstairs where Saks will also be housing Stella’s children’s clothing line on the second floor.
