“Donate exactly $26 dollars and you could win a chance to join me at my Will Powered Invitational at Pebble Beach,” says Will Ferrell on Crowdrise, a website dedicated to helping people start up and/or contribute to fundraisers.

The fundraiser is being held to benefit the Cancer For College Scholarship Fund, a charity which ‘provides hope and inspiration to those who have battled cancer.’

If you donate $26, you’re automatically entered to win a foursome at the upcoming Annual Will Powered Golf Classic charity golf event and Kinda Humorous Comedy Show on August 26th, 2011 at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA.

Or, you could win the grand prize — a weekend for two to the Pebble Beach Golf Resort on October 28-30 to be part of the inaugural Will Powered Invitational. The Invitational will select 24 golfers to take to the Pebble Beach resort, with special accommodations — airfare, a room at the Inn at Spanish Bay, and the world famous Pebble Beach Golf Links. Meals and cocktail parties are included, which the guests will spend with comedian Will Ferrell himself.

Says Craig Pollard, a friend and former USC fraternity brother of Will Ferrell, “We are so fortunate to have such a loyal supporter and friend as Will Ferrell. People can be charitable with their time or their money, and Will is extremely generous to our cause with both. I think it’s a testament to these amazing kids who have survived cancer and just want to return to some sort of normalcy in their life. Thanks to Will we are going to be able to help a lot of survivors through this promotion.”
