Nearly ten years ago, a four-year-old girl lost her father in the attack on the World Trade Center. Now, Payton Wall is fourteen and just had one of her biggest dreams come true: She met Justin Bieber.

Originally Payton wrote to Bieber on twitter, but got no response. Not surprising considering Bieber has over 10 million followers.

So then, Payton took her desire to the most powerful man she knew. She met with President Obama back in May at ground zero and asked him if he could help her meet the young pop star. President Obama said that he knew Bieber and would help arrange a meeting. I mean, Bieber may be Canadian, but who can say no to the commander and chief?

A lot of news outlets wondered if Obama could actually make it happen. Bieber quickly took to his twitter account to respond. He wrote, “I think you’re wrong. Pretty sure President Barack Obama will keep this promise. Pay it forward.”

And now, that happy day has come. Payton met with the singer and told the New York Post about the meeting, “It was so cool. I couldn’t even believe it.”

In addition to posing with Bieber for photos, a cardboard cut out of President Obama was on hand to pay tribute to the man who made Payton’s wish come true.
