Next week in New Jersey, the 2011 Night for Newark Gala will host dancing, dinner and special guests in support of the Randy Foye Foundation, an organization formed to improve the lives of at-risk youth.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase one of a kind auction items including a signed Justin Bieber picture and other items from celebrities like Lance Armstrong, Michael Jackson and the cast of “Twilight”.

The event honors the foundation’s Assist 4 Life program, which benefits students who are part of the program. Los Angeles Clippers guard, Randy Foye, formed his organization after he took notice of struggling children, who were in need and had the difficulties of growing up in poor environments.

Foye’s similar childhood motivated him to build a foundation that supports underprivileged children through mentoring, education and trips, creating new experiences and preparing them for the future.

The gala will take place at the Robert B. Meyner Reception Center in Holmdel, NJ on Saturday, July 9.
