Linkin Park is planning a top-secret show in Los Angeles to help raise funds for Japan.

Yesterday, the band made the announcement online and are asking fans to visit SecretShowForJapan.com, sign up and help the band’s charity organization, Music For Relief, that provides aid to victims of natural disasters.

Fans can earn two tickets to the show by raising $500. If more is raised, the band will award special prizes such as, VIP access and signed memorabilia. All proceeds benefit the children who were affected by the earthquake and tsunami.

The show location will only be revealed to fundraisers. It takes place on Aug. 31, 2011, where Linkin Park will perform alongside Japan’s best-selling artist B’z.
