There’s something so inspiring about seeing baby sea turtles released safe and sound into the ocean! Maybe it’s because so many of these little turtles don’t have the same lucky fate, whether due to poaching, dying as by-catch of the fishing industry, or falling victim to plastic pollution or climate change.

The babies in this video made it safely home into the ocean, and the crowd of rescuers and beach-goers must have found this just as happy as I did because you can hear them cheering as a wave comes up and finally takes the turtles into the sea.

There are not many details about the video, but according to the story on the Huffington Post, the YouTube user who shared the video says it was recorded in Cabo San Lucas, and that one organization there called ASUPMATOMA has saved thousands of baby sea turtles through nest-watching and ocean releases.

Enjoy the video, and feel free to cheer along with the crowd!
