Vegans were already able to enjoy their coffee drinks dairy-free with soymilk at Starbucks locations, but the vegan food options were quite noticeably missing from the menu.
Quarrygirl.com, vegan blog site, featured the news today about Starbucks’ new “Sesame Noodles Bento Box.” According to quarrygirl, Starbucks locations in the UK have provided vegan options for years, while the US has been a little left out.
Just what’s in this new veg dish? According to the description on the Starbucks website, “sesame noodle salad tossed with broccoli florets, carrots, red peppers, sugar snap peas and a creamy peanut dressing is served with a cucumber carrot salad, crunchy sesame peanuts and baked tofu with lightly spiced lime glaze. For dessert, a premium Starbucks chocolate.”
Sounds good to me!
