True Blood actress, Deborah Ann Woll, is partnering up with the fansite, The Vault, for an auction benefiting a foundation very close to her heart.

The auction supports the Choroideremia Research Foundation, an organization which raises funds to find a treatment or cure for Choroideremia. The very rare, inherited disease causes progressive loss of vision and leads to complete blindness.

Wolls partner, E.J. Scott, has the disease, so she has collaborated with The Vault to auction off several personalized items including a portrait by the actress and a handwritten personal note. In addition, the fansite is auctioning off a  double vampire and True Blood issue of SFX UK Magazine signed by Woll, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.

Currently no treatment or cure exists, but if people continue to donate and help fund the organization, clinical trials can be started within the next couple years. The auction ends on Sunday, July 17, and can be accessed through eBay.
