In what’s a genuinely more odd display of nature’s power, video of Sicily’s Mount Etna blowing smoke rings was recently uncovered. It’s from 2000, before it started getting all angry this year, but the event is so rare that it’s only been captured three times in the history of volcano watching. It’s oh so pretty – and a hell of a lot better than anything smoke-related I can pull off. Who knew Etna was such a hipster?
