Katy Perry Struggling to Stay Vegetarian

Katy Perry is apparently having a hard time sticking to her new vegetarian diet. Or, so says a friend. Yes, be warned. This is one of those stories where a nameless friend gives out information about a famous person.

The friend claims that the “California Gurl” has been sneaking chicken and other meats into her diet. The source said, “Russell has been a veggie for 22 years, but Katy adores meat. She did give it up for a while for Russell’s sake but is finding it a struggle.”

Russell Brand on the other hand, has stuck with his meat free diet through thick and thin. The comedian was quoted as saying, “Even as a junkie I stayed true to vegetarianism. I shall have heroin, but I shan’t have a hamburger. What a sexy little paradox.”

Perhaps Ms. Perry just hasn’t dined at Candle 79 yet? Or tried Dr. Cows nut cheeses? I think a little seitan piccata would address all her urges and then some. But those are New York based vegan hits. Anyone on the west coast have a restaurant recommendation for Katy to get her through the hard times?
