Steven Seagal Sued for Death of Dog During Filmed Home Raid

Steven Seagal is being sued for the death of a family’s dog killed during a raid for his new television show Steven Seagal:Lawman.

According to The Herald Sun, Jesus Sanchez Llovera is claiming that his 11-month old puppy was shot and killed during a raid of his Arzona home performed by Seagal and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD).

He stated that Seagal arrived in a tank and the police were in riot gear. The MCSD believed that Llovera was running an illegal cockfighting ring, while he claims that he breeds the roosters for “show.” One hundred roosters were reportedly killed during the raid as well.

Along with Seagal, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is also named in Mr. Llovera’s claim, and he plans to sue both for the death of his dog and roosters. He is asking for $100,000 in damages as well as an apology in writing from Seagal to his children for “the death of their 11-month old puppy, a beloved family pet.” According to the Associated Press, Sheriff Arpaio has also been investigated by the Justice Department for a number of reasons including “alleged discrimination, unconstitutional searches and seizures, and for having an English-only policy in his jails that discriminates against people with limited English skills.”

So, a puppy (11 months) AND 100 roosters died because of the police raid to stop alleged cock-fighting. The raid was headed by a Sheriff with a questionable history AND Steven Seagal in a tank, on tv.

Ok I’m repeating all that because it’s almost too ludicrous to wrap my head around all at once. Normally I would be all for breaking up cock-fight breeders, but this “terrible pr disaster/kill what you are trying to save” approach has me yearning for a better animal care representative. Did Seagal, in a methodical flurry of pain, break these chickens’ necks, or were the officers just running them over in their mad dash to shoot a puppy?

This would make for an amazing movie, if only it was a movie, and real animals hadn’t died to quench the obvious pissing contest that this travesty really seems to be.

i am so with you, it is great they choose to raid a cock fighting scummy, but should upholding the law become such a tv spectacle ?
Funny sidenote, i did think for a while that Stven was a veghead, but obviosuly he ain’t, because he did throw a BBQ party for all these police starring in this questionable TV soapie.
Ironic, busting cockfighters and at night munching away on some chincken nuggets…

In addtion, the tolally LAME excuse for a sheriff arpaio, and the FAT POSER seagal are absolutly DISCUSTING for their attempt for ratings for a retarded so-called tv show. Those 2 mentally deficiant losers should never ever have anyone that would ever support them,how can they live with themselves aftyer killing a family’s pet and 100, again 100, Roosters. Remember, that idiot sheriff has a badddd reputation. It seems he also enjoys any kind of attention from popular asses, i.e. K.B. for speeding and then he made K.B. an “FAKE DEPUTY”!!!!!!!!!!11 Both are total JERKS in my opinion. By the way, I’m from Maricopa County and am ashamed oh the loser of a sheriff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
