Hey, Star Wars fans — here’s your chance to join the ‘force’ against cancer!

Actors Emma Stone, Seth Rogen, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, Jaime King and more have teamed up with Stand Up 2 Cancer for the “Use the Force for Good” campaign, which features “Star Wars”-themed t-shirts that benefit cancer research. The celebs posed in the shirts while recreating classic scenes from the Star Wars films.

The shirts come in three designs (one each for men, women and kids) and sell for $24.99. Each design features classic Star Wars characters and a Stand Up 2 Cancer message, and will be available through the end of the year. In conjunction with the shirt sale, eBay has created a “Use the Force for Good” charity auction, featuring Star Wars memorabilia. The auction runs from September 16-23 and contains more than 100 specially-selected collectibles, including a Star Wars edition Volkswagen Passat.

The fact that the auction kicks off on September 16 is no coincidence. That’s the same day that the Star Wars Blu-ray editions will be released in North America. As part of the celebration and kickoff, eBay partnered with Lucasfilm Ltd. and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment to create a dedicated auction site for Star Wars merchandise, including the “Use the Force for Good” auction.

Star Wars is one of the most-searched-for pop culture terms across eBay — a Star Wars item is searched for and sold every two seconds. eBay has the value, rich selection and the depth of inventory to give Star Wars fans access to whatever they are looking for. We’re pleased that Lucasfilm chose to join us to deliver our community of more than 97 million active members a chance to put their passion towards a good cause and we’re ready to unite with all Star Wars fans to ‘Use the Force for Good.,” said Wendy Jones, VP of Global Advertising.

As part of the event, fans will have the chance to bid on rare merchandise and VIP experiences. All proceeds from the charity auction will benefit SU2C.
