Roseanne Barr’s comeback was just too good to be true. “Roseanne’s Nuts,” the sneak peek into the actress’s life on her Hawaiian Macadamia nut farm, has officially been canceled. While we reported a few months back that the show was the fourth most-watched unscripted series launch in Lifetime’s history, apparently that didn’t last. The news broke through her Twitter feed, on Wednesday when she wrote, “”Roseanne’s Nuts has been canceled. Thanks everyone for watching!”
The show was axed by Lifetime after just one season due to low ratings.
But according to her Twitter feed from earlier today, Roseanne says “I made a mistake – my show is not canceled at all! It’s just not renewed by Lifetime! Thanks Lifetime for not renewing my show! You suck!”
Seems tempting. Any takers?
