The current article you are reading does not reflect the views of the current editors and contributors of the new Ecorazzi

Ecorazzi’s new philanthropic endeavor, Microist, kicks off funding of non-profits today with Darwin Animal Doctors, the only veterinary group serving all animals in the Galapagos.

This organization was nominated and voted on by Microist users. Today the Darwin Animal Doctors dominates the entire homepage of Microist.org.

They will receive a at least $48.38, which is made up of micro-donations from Microist’s 32 founding donors. This number can still grow with donations received today, plus matching donation opportunities to double the amount that this nonprofit will receive.

If you haven’t already taken 5 seconds to check out Microist, today is a great day to start. Of course you can still nominate and vote for organizations daily…and check back tomorrow, as a different non-profit will be featured and funded on a daily basis.

Are you a Microist?
