Southern California’s feel-good comfort food brand, Veggie Grill, helped artists celebrate former president and current vegan Bill Clinton’s organization last Saturday, Oct. 15 at ‘A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation.’

Veggie Grill provided an all vegan menu of food and refreshments in the green room at the Hollywood Bowl for socially responsible artists in music, film and television. Participants included Lady Gaga, Usher, Kenny Chesney, The Edge and Bono. The Clinton Foundation helps lessen poverty, improve global health, strengthen economies and protect the environment.

“It’s an honor for Veggie Grill to have been a part of this special event that supports the work of the William J. Clinton Foundation,” said Greg Dollarhyde, CEO of Veggie Grill. “We’re proud to have served our award-winning food for this monumental event.”

Performers, presenters, participants and organizers had the opportunity to choose from plant-based soups, salads, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and desserts, thanks to Veggie Grill who donated 100 percent of the healthy food. Signature menu items were also included like the ‘Santa Fe Crispy Chicken,’ ‘All Hail Kale’ salad and Carrot Cake.

“In the past decade, commitments to my Clinton Global Initiative have improved the lives of more than 300 million people around the world,” Clinton said in a statement. “This celebration marks 10 years of these efforts and demonstrates how much we can do to make a difference in the years ahead.”

Bill Clinton has become quite the golden boy these past years. It’s wonderful to see that he has taken quite an interest with the environment. His Initiative has done so much, keep on going Bill!
