Many celebrities have joined in the campaign for marriage equality, and John Leguizamo is the latest star asking Americans to support gay marriage.
Leguizamo recently recorded a video ad for the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Americans for Marriage Equality campaign. According to On Top Magazine, the actor says, “Loving, committed couples should be able to marry the person they love and protect their families. And nothing is more important than family. And nothing says family like marriage…So please join me and the majority of Americans who support marriage equality.”
Along with Leguizamo, others who have recently lent their voice to HRC’s campaign include Mo’Nique, Baltimore Raven Brendon Ayanbedejo, and former NAACP chairman Julian Bond.
