Besides being an Academy Award-winning actress, Helen Mirren is also known for her enviable figure, especially when she rocks a bikini. Well, thanks to that famous photo of Mirren sporting a red bikini, the elderly community in the UK can stay warm this winter.

The 66 year-old actress is donating her iconic bikini to Age UK’s Spread the Warmth campaign to help keep 360,000 older people warm and healthy this season.

On the UK morning show ‘Daybreak,’ Mirren said goodbye to her swimwear. “I’m saying farewell to it a little bit regretfully but hopefully it will go to someone who will fill it with as much aplomb as maybe I did. It happens to be one of the best bikinis in the world because it fits! The minute I bought it I loved it because it’s so hard to find a bikini that fits if you’ve got bosoms like I have.”

With Mirren’s donation, fans can win the two-piece by contributing to Age UK’s initiative. Just make a donation before Dec. 9 and you may be the lucky winner!

“I would love it to raise money for an organization that I support called Age UK,” the actress explained.  “I love the idea of this little flimsy summer thing going towards helping old people stay warm and comfortable and toasty in the wintertime. Age UK is a wonderful organization so I’m hoping that they can raise money with it.”

Who’d have thought something with so little material could provide so much warmth?

Trading beef for beans is not a solution, veganism is

Please do substitute beef for beans, but also have tofu instead of turkey, carrots instead of chicken, and I think you see where I’m going.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
