It could be argued that Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are the last pairing one might think would end up naked in a room together. Well, Tony kept his clothes on, but Gaga stripped down while Bennett whipped out his charcoal.

After recording a duet together of ‘The Lady Is a Tramp,’ the veteran singer, in his mid 80’s, sketched the pop star. Now, that drawing will be auctioned off and proceeds will be split between their charities. For Gaga, her Born This Way foundation and for Bennett, Exploring the Arts.

Gaga said about the experience, “I walked in and said, ‘Well Tony here we are,’ and I dropped my robe and I got into position. I felt shy and thought, ‘It’s Tony Bennett, why am I naked?'”

It will probably fetch more than if they had done the opposite and let Lady G draw Mr. Bennett.

Prisons profit from exploiting life and labour

Most young workers don’t want anything to do with manual labour jobs in meat and dairy, and as a result, a large majority of agricultural workers are marginalized people

If you’re mourning Sudan the rhino, go vegan

The world needs more vegans because more than dollars or pledges or sad-emoji riddled posts, our individual efforts can stop the demand for horns, for zoos, for animal flesh, and for the exploitation of any living being.

Criticize veganism, but don’t discredit it

Oppressive and harmful behaviour has no place in a movement rooted in anti-oppression.
