Oprah met Sean Penn in Haiti on Monday to visit a camp that has served as a home for thousands of earthquake survivors. The talk show host and actor were given a tour of the site, once a golf course, as a part of a special that will air on OWN.

Penn had to say about Oprah’s visit, “Everybody who has spent time in Haiti knows how important it is for the world to see what is going on here. We really appreciate that she’s here with us.”

Oprah said about her trip to Haiti, “This is part of the next chapter, going around the world to see interesting and fascinating cases of profound examples of what can be done to make a difference in the world.”

The special will highlight Penn’s work in Haiti. He’s been one of the most vocal celebrities on the work that needs to be done to rebuild the country and has spent a great deal of time on the ground.
