'The Hobbit' Trailer Turns New Zealand Into Middle Earth Yet Again

It’s been a week of epic trailers – from “Jack the Giant Killer” to “The Dark Knight Rises”, but this first teaser for “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” from director Peter Jackson is truly an unexpected gift.

If you’ve never read the book, no worries – any previous viewing of Jackson’s “Lord of the Rings” trilogy should be enough to get you excited for this return visit to Middle Earth. New Zealand is once again the setting (though there were threats to move the production to the UK), and all her natural beauty is on display.

Get pumped. Part I hits next December.
