You’ll be seeing a new line of cleaning products hitting the shelves in your natural grocery store in the upcoming months. Ed Begley, Jr. announced today that he has launched a full line of eco-friendly products that are plant-based, sustainable and cruelty free. Called Begley’s Earth Responsible Products, each product is supposedly formulated to the strict standards of Begley himself.

Hot on the heels of Jessica Alba’s announcement yesterday about her new website, there are a few overlaps such as cleansers and lotions, but Begley’s products are more focused on cleaning as opposed to personal care.

Begley said in a press release, “It is a fact that non-green products can be harmful, and indeed toxic to our minds and bodies and the planet at large.”

“My priority is to ensure that quality products do not come at the expense of compromising our safety, health, or the environment,” he added.

Begley’s Earth Responsible Products are now available through the website but that will be growing to multiple locations in the upcoming months. The full line includes: Dish Soap, Hand Soap, Multi Surface Cleaner, Glass Cleaner, Cooktop Cleaner, Stone Cleaner and Rejuvenator, Pet Stain and Odor Remover, Household Stain and Odor Remover, and Produce Wash.

He was on Happy Endings with his products. I didn’t know it was actually a thing though. Very cool!

I will buy when the product is in ocean eco-friendly glass containers. Does he know plastic is real BAD and cities are banning bags, or is he in it only for a quick buck selling his famous name out???
His recycled plastic bottles will float just as well as new ones in the pacific gyre. Wake up Ed, your part of the problem, not the solution.
