Fear of injury or death during my first test drive aside, I really want this incredibly-awesome electric Xenon “lightcycle” from motorcycle maker Evolve. Unfortunately, it costs $55K, so I’ll file this one under “dreams” – but for the multitude of celebs attending tonight’s Global Green Pre-Oscar Party, that’s pocket change.

Evolve just announced that one of these lithium-powered beauties (top speed 100MPH) will be auctioned off at the event to raise cash for Global Green’s environmental initiatives.

Celebs expected to be in attendance include Adrian Grenier, Ed Begley Jr., Rosario Dawson, Maggie Grace, Mia Maestro, Nick Carter, and more – with musical acts Evaline and New Division. The night festivities ( with over 1,500 attendees expected) will help raise cash for GG’s National Green Schools initiative, as well as the launch of Global Green’s campaign for the run up to the Rio Earth Summit in June.

You should really get facts correct before publishing. This concept both the gas and electric versions are 100% Parker Brothers Concepts build. All Evolve does is supply some electric components.

Why Vegetarianism Makes No Sense From A Moral Perspective

I don’t consider my years as a vegetarian as a stepping-stone or prerequisite to veganism

I hope I win the ‘Pig Farmers of Tomorrow’ contest I entered (I’m vegan)

I think I’ll likely have the most interest in pigs of anyone applying, anyway.

Hopefully Jon & Tracey Stewart use their new farm for vegan education

They’ve promised classes on caring for animals and sustainable agriculture, so vegan 101 would be a great place to start.
