Actress and eco-friendly gal Cameron Diaz is bound to make all the best dressed lists for her beige Gucci gown at the Oscars last night.

Normally, beige is one tough color to pull off, and other actresses in the past haven’t quite been able to make it work, but Diaz really shined. With the simple strapless top and  asymmetrical layered skirt, the dress was the perfect combination of simple and elegant.

Gearing up for the Oscars, the actress attended a dinner with Colin and Livia Firth for Oxfam on Wednesday night. We’re sure the environmentally aware actress had a lot to talk about with Firth who finished up her 2012 green carpet challenge last night. Diaz has helped a variety of human rights causes and worked with the Environmental Media Association to get the entertainment industry on board to promote a more sustainable world.

Check out the Gucci gown below!
