Rooney Mara’s red lips, dramatic bangs and keen fashion sense has made her a red carpet all-star this awards season. Last night at the Oscars, the actress didn’t disappoint. She wore a white Givenchy Haute Couture lace gown.

While the actress didn’t bring home a coveted statuette for her performance in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” the twenty-six year old is certainly making a name for herself in the film world.

In addition to her great work on screen, Mara does admirable work with the Uweza Aid Foundation. The organization works to fight the cycle of poverty in Kibera. Uweza writes on their website, “We nurture and build upon the already-existing capabilities and resourcefulness of Kenyans through community-based empowerment programs.” We’re happy to see Mara involved in such a worthy cause.

See below for the actress’s gorgeous dress.
