More people have a mobile phone than a toilet. Every 20 seconds, a child dies from a water-related illness. Women spend 200 million hours a day collecting water.

As we do research for our upcoming Microist Day benefiting Water.org, we learn more and more about the enormity of the water crisis.

On Tuesday, March 20, 2012, we’re going to do something about it. We’re going to lend our voice.

Visit any of Ecorazzi’s social media channels on Tuesday, and you’ll find out more about the water crisis and what Water.org is doing about it. We hope to help Water.org spread these important messages and reach some new eyes.

Give your Status for a Cause

Can you help? Please sign up to join us in our micro-activism. We’ll send you all the information you need, and you are never under any obligation. By sending out a tweet on Microist Day, sharing a Water.org link on Facebook, or pinning a Water.org infographic, you’ll be lending your voice AND your influence to the cause, as well.

You’ll hear more about this from us soon. Right now, the most important thing you can do is to sign up to participate. Join us! Be a Microist.

Guys, extortion isn’t an effective form of vegan advocacy

Assuming we can extort people into respecting the lives of others makes no sense.
