While attending a launch party for her new perfume Thursday night, Kim Kardashian received an unexpected shower of white powder from a woman in attendance.
Naturally, no one knew immediately what the powder was – later determined by police and firefighters to be nothing but harmless flour. In the video below, you can clearly hear the woman who made the assault screaming “fur hag” – so it would make sense that’s the motive behind all this.
Remember when Lindsay Lohan got a face full of flour for wearing fur back in 2008?
Such an attack caps months of appeals from animal activists for Kim to drop her personal affection for fur clothing; as well as sales at the popular Kardashian store Dash. In November, PETA released a billboard on Beverly Boulevard in West Hollywood with Kardashian, wearing fur nonetheless, strategically placed next to baby foxes. It read, “Kim: These babies miss their mother. IS SHE ON YOUR BACK?”
As for the attacker last night, Kardashian did not press charges and she was later released. You can check out video of the incident below.
