Miley Cyrus is known for her animal activism, and the actress/singer is adding to her list of good deeds by encouraging others to get involved during this year’s Global Youth Service Day.

Cyrus has joined forces with Youth Service America by launching her “Get Ur Good On” initiative and encouraging young people get involved and give back in some way.

Motivated by her late grandpa, Cyrus wants everyone to do something good. It doesn’t matter what it is.

“The mission of the foundation… is [for] kids to encourage other kids not to spend time putting each other down, but come together and meet through this, and it not to be about anything other than love and the passion of doing good,” Cyrus said.

The 19-year-old offers 100 ways to “get ur good on” through her Youth Service site. From tutoring a child to recycling to helping raise money for an organization, there are hundreds of ways to give back.

“You can do anything that inspires you, it’s what you want to change and what you want to do. It’s kids making their opinions matter and getting out there and changing the world.”

Youth Service Day is April 22-24; what will you do to give back?
