Former “House” star Lisa Edelstein has long been involved in the green scene – showing up on this site multiple times over the years, as well as promoting animal rights issues and advocating for a meat-free diet.
That latter passion (a vegetarian/sometimes vegan for 28 years) is now the focus of a new PETA ad featuring the gorgeous 44-year-old relaxing nude in a bed of leafy kale. The bit urges people to “Go Green by Eating Green.”
“A vegetarian diet is a really important part of what we need to do to help the environment,” she says. ”The meat industry is really toxic to the environment. The cattle industry – besides the fact that there’s a lot of cruel things happening – the manure is extremely toxic.”
