Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron is cleaning out her closet for a good cause. She is donating some very expensive gowns to help with the fight against AIDS in Africa.
The particular charity Theron, 36, is benefitting is one founded by the starlet herself – the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Program, which helps keep African youth safe from HIV/AIDS.
A resident of South Africa, the “Young Adult” actress and CTAOP are auctioning off items through Charity Buzz. Theron’s black Versace worn at the Spike Video Game Awards and her purple Lanvin dress worn at the Cannes Film Festival are up for grabs.
Other items include a special tour of Jay Leno’s car collection with four tickets to watch Leno live at “The Tonight Show,” a Sixers jersey autographed by NBA star Allen Iverson and the chance to have GreenTree Landscaping install a raised organic garden bed in Los Angeles.
