Hugh Jackman Opens Home For Green Fundraiser

Home (we imagine briefly) from filming in London for his next film “Les Miserables,” Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness hosted a party last Wednesday evening celebrating the top donors for this year’s Hudson River Park gala.

The couple, who serve as honorary co-chairs for the organization, also celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary.

Currently, Friends of Hudson River Park are in the midst of a $200M fundraising effort to increase the size of the green space from 59th Street to the Battery. This year’s gala, hosted by Gayle King, will take place on May 29th at Pier 26. More information can be found here.

And oh yes, Hugh will be in attendance for anyone wondering. Who wouldn’t like to hang out with a guy who can sing, dance, raise charity with the shirt off his back, and provide you both coffee and chocolate?
