It seems that the uproar over her 2010 “meat dress” didn’t faze Lady Gaga one bit, because she’s back with a new one, this time featuring a strapless bodice and a full miniskirt. It’s safe to say vegetarians are not “gaga” for the look.

She wore the first version to the MTV VMAs, and at the time told host Ellen Degeneres, “Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I am the most judgment-free human being on the earth. However, it has many interpretations for me this evening. If we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights pretty soon we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on our own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat.”

Apparently she’s still not worried about offending the vegetarians out there, because she proudly unveiled her new outfit on her Facebook page, labeling it as “‘Americano’ by Terry Richardson” and stating that she wore it on her Born This Way Ball tour in Tokyo.

There’s no word yet on whether this one will end up in the Rock Hall of Fame with the other, but as Vegetarian Star points out, there are probably enough preservatives in the newest creation to keep it intact it for all time, and we can assume she will continue to wear it during her “Americano” performances.

Talk about foul fashion. Here’s hoping Gaga is done making disgusting costume statements and turns her attention back to fighting bullying ASAP.

How revolting …. there are other more intelligent ways of getting a point across, if that’s even what she’s trying to do. It doesn’t seem to stand for anything but disrespect for the animals that she’s wearing.

    This woman is an ass-clown.

Really stupid comments, whether you’re vegetarian or not. They make absolutely no sense. What else would we expect though?

  • disgusting waste of food and disrespect for the animal. Lady Gag needs mental help ASAP

  • Luvegans

She is still just a child begging for constant attention, regardless of the cost to the planet, animals or anything. One day she might grow up and become a woman of substance who stands for something. But, I doubt it because the fans and the media keep giving her exactly what she craves.

I just really don’t care for her after this. She is a bully towards animals while advocating respect for others. Go figure.

Why it doesn’t matter if the Impossible burger is healthy

The Impossible burger doesn’t need to be overtly healthy – it just needs to be vegan.
