P!nk and hubby Carey Hart celebrated the first birthday of their daughter, Willow Sage, over the weekend with vegan cake in a not so traditional setting called…the hospital.

Don’t worry P!nk and her family are well. Earlier in the week, the singer tweeted a picture of herself in the hospital, where she had her gallbladder removed.

P!nk didn’t really have her mind on surgery, but rather Willow’s birthday party. She tweeted, “Happy Birthday to my angel, my purpose, my biggest blessing. I love you Willow Sage.”

Her family, including her husband and daughter, came to the hospital where they honored Willow and enjoyed vegan cake from Jamaica’s Cakes bakery in California. P!nk was most enthusiastic about the dessert and tweeted, “And thanks for the most amazing cake I’ve ever seen Jamaica’s Cakes!!!! She loved her first vegan carrot cake!”

How cute is that cake? It’s no surprise that the first-time mommy chose a vegan treat for her daughter, since P!nk is an avid animal advocate and has helped PETA regarding animals, along with speaking out for animals on her own via Twitter.

It sounds like they had a wonderful celebration. “Thanks family 4 bringing my lil girls party to the hospital all weekend for me. I spose it doesn’t matter where u r when u eat ur 1st cake! [sic]”

In short, the lawyers ineptly argued that pigs are not property, and then went on to argue that they are property.

The only label you need on egg cartons: exploitative

We have to recognize that the ‘free range’ campaign (and the many chicken related campaigns like it) is as frivolous as the ‘humane meat’ one.
