PETA is taking the adult entertainment industry to a whole new level. For awhile now, we’ve reported about the animal rights group’s new triple-X project, PETA.xxx, which offers adult content, all while demonstrating support for animals.

Even though the site does contain some explicit content; overall it is being used to educate others about animal cruelty and how it needs to stop. Not only are there graphic PETA ads, but there are graphic images and videos of animals that will make heads turn.

According to Ron Jeremy, known for lending his talents to the adult-film world, said “[T]his is the perfect example of sex just being used to draw interest, and then once you’re there on the site, we’re going to hit you with facts that you need to know about the world of animals.”

On the site, you’ll see some familiar faces like Jenna Jameson, Sasha Gray and Rose McGowan, but it isn’t just for famous people. The XXX site also welcomes ordinary names and faces. If you’re willing to go naked for the sake of animals, let PETA know.

After browsing through the site, it’s not what I expected and is quite informational. It definitely varies from the stereotypical porn sites. It presents photos of animal activists posing in scandalous outfits and positions while in public, in the shower, in cages and with food. Videos are also posted to educate visitors about the meat industry. Furthermore, PETA even provides “sex tips.” As the site reads, “We’ve known for years that vegetarians make better lovers.” To help those non-meat eaters in the bedroom, tips are offered about what fruit and veggies can boost performance.

It’s really no surprise that PETA is embracing the porn industry. The animal advocacy organization is known for its “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” ads with all sorts of stars lending their naked bodies for the campaigns like Khloe Kardashian, Bethenny Frankel, Eva Mendes and Alicia Silverstone.

Back in January, PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said, “We have bought a triple-X website, which is, of course, adult entertainment. And funny enough, like it or not, there are so many people cruising the Web looking for adult entertainment and visiting triple-X sites that we felt we would really be shortchanging our course if we didn’t take advantage of that.”

It’d be no surprise if PETA.xxx does really well. It’s just a new way for PETA to stand up for its beliefs.

There is nothing XXX about that website. It is just a ploy to attract attention like everything else PETA does.
