Ashton Kutcher is showing his support for Join Red through his twitter feed. The actor tweeted the message: “Help fight AIDS. @coldplay, @theblackkeys & more auctioning tixs for @joinRED. Great Music Saves Lives. #REDRUSH.”

Join Red seeks to create an AIDS free generation by 2015. The group partners with governments, health organizations, and companies to fight the virus that 1,000 babies are born with ever day. (RED)RUSH to Zero is a campaign that runs from June 1-10 and calles for the beginning of the end of AIDS.

The campaign initiative gives people 10 different ways to start the end of AIDS and get on its way to creating an AIDS free generation by 2015. The initiative asks people to buy a (RED) product, bid on (RED)ROWS concert tickets, check-in on Foursquare at Starbucks in US and Canada to trigger donations to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, give an INSPI(RED) T-Shirt to a friend, play (RED)RUSH Games and a plenty of other ways to fight AIDS.

Join Red believes that the key to wiping out AIDS by 2015 is to get pregnant women with HIV on medication. There are 1.4 million HIV+ women who need medicine to prevent transferring the disease to their newborn children. The cost of the medicine is only 40 cents a day. Join Red’s partnerships make it possible for women to get this much needed medicine.

Some (RED)ROWS music supporters include Sheryl Crow, The Black Keys, Coldplay, Brian Adams, Leonard Cohen and Elvis Costello.
