The latest scoop on Madonna’s “MDNA Tour” has hit the web and it seems the star has just a few requests. Between the backstage furniture being shipped from her own home, to the special fabric it needs to be draped in, to a dressing room that smells like lilies and roses (cut perfectly with six inch stems, please), to the dry-cleaning service each evening. Let’s just say we don’t want to see her carbon footprint.

But amongst the 200 people that are employed for her tour, including yoga instructors, bodyguards, and an acupuncturist, are chefs. And we aren’t just talking any chefs, but those that can cook Madonna a strictly vegan menu. We know she’s been a longtime vegetarian and got ready for the Super Bowl with vegan pizzas every day, but hadn’t heard the news that she’s officially made the switch. The Material Girl has definitely been spotted rocking fur and leather, but perhaps that has changed as well. Is there something we should know, Madge?

morona is just a pig and she isn’t sticking with anything. it’s a fad to her.

You’re wrong about Madonna. I don’t know if she’s really made the switch, but if she has in fact become vegan, she’ll stick with it!

    She’s not a ‘pig’!
    Why insult pigs!

I agree – she’s a spoilt brat who is doing nothing to save the Planet with her stupid furniture and six inch flower stems.

This is embarrassing attempt at veganism, for people who really do care about the environment. 0h well, at least she saves a few animals in the process.

  • Well, it’s her choice one way or another. She doesn’t owe anybody an explanation.

What About Zero Waste?

Going vegan must be at the heart of any environmental discussion.

Why it doesn’t matter if the Impossible burger is healthy

The Impossible burger doesn’t need to be overtly healthy – it just needs to be vegan.
