While random, undisclosed acts of charity are always awesome – if you’re a celebrity, someone is always going to notice.

Such is the case for Woody Harrelson, who is quickly becoming this morning’s charitable hero. The 50-year-old was leaving actress Carol Kane’s 60th birthday at Bar Centrale in Hell’s Kitchen on Sunday when a homeless woman asked him for some cash.

According to a source, Harrelson reached into his wallet and pulled out six hundred dollars. The Daily News reports that, with cash in hand, the woman (obviously a fan) then shouted “Woody! White men CAN jump!”

I’m not sure I could have come up with anything better. Nice handout, Woody!
