Charlie Sheen may be Hollywood’s most notorious bad boy, but it seems he has a good heart as well.

The actor announced Monday that he plans to donate at least $1 million to the USO, an organization known for providing recreation and entertainment to deployed troops. Sheen will donate 1% of the profits from his new show Anger Management to the group, with no cap on the ultimate amount.

His donation will help support an ongoing campaign to help injured troops. Regarding his generous donation, Sheen says “It’s an honor for me to be able to give back to these men and women of the military who have done so much for all of us.”

Sheen’s donation is among the largest single donations the USO has ever received.
