In official acknowledgment of her charitable work, Kate Middleton’s name has been added to Prince William and Harry’s foundation. The foundation is now known as the The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.

According to the Telegraph, the three royals have helped secure almost $2 million in donations to philanthropic organizations aiding wildlife, disadvantaged children, and military veterans.

Donations to the foundation have increased nearly 10-fold since last year’s royal wedding, peaking at over $1.5 million when, at the couple’s request, charitable donations were requested in lieu of wedding gifts.

Lord Janvrin, chairman of trustees for the foundation, told The Telegraph that the trustees were “delighted” by the addition of Middleton’s name to the cause. It is a move that will undoubtedly help the foundation have a “busy and memorable” year.
