Stephen Colbert is saying no to “Meatless Mondays” with his new “Eat More Meat” public-service announcement that he debuted on “The Colbert Report” Thursday.

In light of the USDA announcing their eco-friendly, healthy eating initiative encouraging their employees to not eat meat on Mondays (later retracted, as it was made without proper clearance), Colbert decided to show how he truly feels.

In addition to the USDA’s so-called statement, Colbert found inspiration from a scientific study, which revealed plants can speak through “bubbling” and “clicking” noises and also feel pain.

After ranting and raving over how cruel vegans are for abusing plants and encouraging “Meatless Mondays,” he says, “All those smug, morally superior vegans are actually vicious kale killers!”

He also noted, “If I have Meatless Mondays, how am I supposed to celebrate Trichinosis Tuesdays?”

To see Colbert’s true feelings, watch his PSA that is sponsored by PETOP (People for the Ethical Treatment of Produce) and as the video eloquently states, “Orange you glad you aren’t a banana?”

Jeremy Corbyn’s Vegan “Process”

When we reject human injustice, nobody needs to go on a “journey” to get to that point. Where animals are concerned, we’re all too eager to pack the car, don the sunglasses and go for ride before we see the truth of what has been in front of us the entire time.

Vegan Advocacy Ideas For The Arts

Creative education, in the context of social justice, simply means creating a mental space, a field of consciousness, from which the person feels stimulated to engage or hear what you have to say.
