Are you watching the Emmys tonight? If so, we hope you enjoy the dresses and that your favorite shows clean up with all the best awards.

We’re sure Carrie Ann Inaba is enjoying it as well, but awards and the hollywood elite aren’t the only things on her mind. She hopes you’ll join her in considering some of the creatures who aren’t hanging out in the lap of luxury this evening. She tweeted, “… And even though it’s a big day for all of us in Hollywood, let’s not forget the animals… Help animals in need!!”

Then she posted one of my new favorite videos about adopting critters from the shelter instead of partaking in the dubious practice of buying dogs off the Internet. Why? Because they probably come from puppy mills.
